Proof of vaccine for COVID-19

Everyone over the age of 18 will need to provide proof of FULL vaccination for Covid-19, via the following means:

  • COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate via the Service WA or,
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate( digital or hard copy) and
  • sign in using the QR code’s posted at the venue.

This will mean proof of double vaccinations for all adults, this will be required of patrons, leasing businesses like ourselves, contractors, sub-contractors, staff and visitors.

What time should I go to the race track?

Drivers: You need to be at the race track 45 mins prior to your scheduled drive

Rides Only: At the start of the session time.

What is your alcohol policy?

Please remember there is a zero drug and alcohol rule.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed at any motor racing circuit.

Do I need a drivers licence?

You must present your Australian full drivers licence / P Plate or International drivers licence.

I have a voucher, do I need to bring it with me?

You MUST bring your ticket or order confirmation with you on your event day to be eligible to participate in the experience.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing (dresses or skirts are not suitable) and enclosed footwear (runners or similar). Race Suits, Helmets and Gloves are provided.

Is there any height and weight restrictions?

There are weight and height restrictions — under 130 kg, 135cm to 194cm

Is there anything else I need to know?

You must submit a signed indemnity form to the organisers on the day to participate. Click here to download the form.

What happens once I have booked my experience?

Once you have booked your V8 Drive Day experience, we will send you an email containing your invoice and booking confirmation with contact details and further information. Keep this invoice and take it with you when you attend your experience as proof of payment.

What happens onHow can I pay for an activity?

We prefer payment by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express (1.5% Surcharge).

I have not received a reply to my emails.

Some internet providers can mark general booking emails such as those sent from V8 Drive Day as spam — please check your spam folder for previous email replies. If you have your spam filter set on the highest setting, only emails from senders in your address box will go into your inbox. Any other emails (such as replies from internet sites you have booked on) will go into the spam folder. These emails can sit in this folder for up to 7 days and then your email system will automatically delete them.

What happens if there is bad weather?

If it is raining prior to you leaving home or rain is scheduled telephone 1300 095 734 for an update on the latest track conditions. If bad weather results in your experience being cancelled you may simply rebook at no charge.

Can I buy a gift certificate for any experience?

Yes, V8 Drive Day does offer a gift certificate service. Simply click on the gift certificate icon.

How long is the gift certificate valid for?

Our gift certificate’s are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

How are gift certificate delivered?

Our gift certificates are delivered instantly by email.

How do I redeem my gift certificate?

To redeem your gift certificate, simply click on the Redeem a Gift Certificate button, register an account or login. Enter the redemption code contained in the email or certificate presented to you, select any upgrades you may wish to purchase and then continue with your checkout.

Do I have to book the date now?

No you don’t. You’ll be purchasing an open dated certificate which is valid for three years. The recipient can call us anytime within that period to book a suitable date. You can book the date now if you wish, please be aware that charges do apply to booking changes (see Terms and Conditions for details) so it’s best to make sure the recipient can make the date before you book it.

Can I rebook if there is a problem with the day they booked? eg sick / away

Yes you can rebook for up to a year of the ticket buying date. Pre-booked drives or rides can be rescheduled 7 working days prior to your booking date with no charge. Changes to your booking within 7 working days are subject to a $30 re-booking fee. 48 hours notice required for booking changes/cancellations or your Voucher will be voided.

Can we book on the day?

Bookings may be available on the day depending on availability. To avoid disappointment we recommend you book prior to the day.

Can we upgrade on the day?

Yes you may upgrade on the day however this is subject to availability. USB recordings for $50, Photos for $60, Combo for $99 and extra laps from $50 to $80 each. Payable by cash or card.

Where do we meet at the track?

We will meet at the Clubhouse. Enter the main gate and then follow the signs to the Clubhouse.

How long is the track?

V8 Drive Day runs the “Long Track” at Wanneroo Raceway which is 2.4km long.

Can I bring a friend along to watch?

Yes you may bring a friend along to watch. There is spectator seating just above the pit lane and they are more than welcome to sit there and watch you have the thrill of a lifetime.

What if the recipient of the gift certificate would prefer to upgrade to another experience?

No problem. When the recipient of the gift certificate goes on line to book their experience they can simply choose what experience they would like and simply pay any extra change involved. Laps can also be added on the day of the experience.

How long does it take to receive my certificate?

A printable gift certificate is emailed to the address you supply as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Can I choose the vehicle I want to drive?

Yes, please email us prior to your booking date with your preference and we will do our best to accommodate. We have Ford and Holden Sedans and Holden Utes subject to vehicle availability.
